Show Notes

In this episode of The Cordial Catholic Podcast, I'm joined by the one and only Dr. Lawrence Feingold philosopher, theologian, and author to talk about typology and how the Catholic Church was prefigured in the Old Testament.

This is absolutely an episode for the record books as Dr. Feingold takes us deep into biblical typology which begins, we learn, through looking at how Jesus Himself used the Old Testament. Through unpacking the biblical texts and with a deep knowledge of Scripture, Dr. Feingold shows how Israel was, indeed, a clear prefiguring of the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church – and not merely an invisible collection of Christians.

For more on Dr. Feingold visit The Association of Hebrew Catholics where you can find a series of free lectures on this topic. And, make sure to add his books to your "to do" list; they're fantastic and highly recommended.
