Show Notes

In this episode of The Cordial Catholic, we've reassembled our popular panel of converts from our discussion on Sola Scriptura (in Episode 66) to talk about the other famous Protestant "sola," Sola Fide – the idea that Christians are saved "by faith alone."

Joined by Matt Swaim and Keith Nester, we discuss what Sola Fide means, how it's understood differently in different denominations, how we wrestled with it, and ultimately, how it isn't all that different from a Catholic understanding of salvation anyway.

It's a fantastic discussion, a real deep dive, into our experiences trying to understand the Christian faith through a "faith alone" lens, and why we all eventually became Catholic.
